The Green Growth Dialogue is all about creating a space of learning and exchange of knowledge; a dialogue between different perspectives, approaches, and understandings of problems and solutions; an experience of inspiration and motivation to act.


LAUNCH

08:00–09:00 – Registration.

09:00–09:15 – Welcome and introduction with Sigurð í Jákupsstovu (Rector of the University of the Faroe Islands).

09:15–09:30 – Kick-off and launch. Kristina Háfoss (Minister of Finance).

09:30–09:45Guðrið Højgaard (Director of Visit Faroe Islands): Tourism Now and in the Future – the case of the Faroe Islands.


09:50–10:10COFFEE BREAK.

Buffet:

  • Steamed cod with lemon-cheese and salsa
  • Pork stew with paprika sauce and potatoes
  • Broccoli salad with beans, apricots and vinaigrette
  • Salad and homemade bread

 

13:15–14:40 (SIDE-EVENT)

Íverksetan innan ferðavinnuna: royndir úr Íslandi og møguleikar í Føroyum

Í samband við ráðstevnuna skipa Hugskotið, Íverksetarahúsið og Vinnuframi fyri einum tiltaki í fundarhølinum í Sjóvinnuhúsinum á 3. hædd

Tiltakið fer at varpa ljós á íverksetan innan ferðavinnuna, herundir hvørjar royndir tey hava í Íslandi og hvørjir møguleikar eru hjá íverksetarum og ferðavinnuaktørum innan vinnuferðavinnu í Føroyum.

Fyrst kemur Ketill Berg Magnussen at greiða frá íverksetan í Íslandi og Startup Tourism Iceland og kemur hann eisini at greiða frá egnum royndum bæði sum ráðgevi innan íverksetan og sínum royndum sum íverkseti við fyritøkuni Viking Adventure.

Síðani kemur Annleyg Lamhauge frá Visit Faroe Islands at greiða frá vinnuferðavinnu (MICE). Annleyg kemur at greiða frá hvør hesin málbólkur er og hví hann er týdningarmikil fyri Føroyar og hvørjir møguleikar eru hjá íverksetum í hesum sambandi.

Høvið verður at seta spurningar og vónandi fáa vit eitt gott kjak.

13:45–14:30Round-table chaired by Óluva Zachariasen (Journalist at KVF): Poul Michelsen (Minster of Foreign Affairs and Trade) Annika Olsen (Mayor of Tórshavn), Aimé Jacobsen (Mayor of Sørvágs Municipality) and Heðin Zachariasen (Mayor of Sunda Kommuna).

Please note that this session will be in Faroese.

14:50–15:50Round-table chaired by Óluva Zachariasen (Journalist at KVF): Stefán Gíslason (Director, Environice), Maria Gunnleivssdóttir Hansen (Faroese Environmental Agency and Småsamfundsgruppen at Nordic Council of Ministers), Kelly S. Bricker (Vice-chair, Global Sustainable Tourism Council).
